1933 - The Golden Jubilee year of the Boys' Brigade

|
Over 600 Members of the Boys' Brigade attend the Enfield Battalion Jubilee Parade at Lincoln Road, Ponders End. The massed bands of the 1st and 3rd Enfield take part. Captain Barns of Birmingham addresses the Battalion.

A Golden Jubilee Dinner is held in London in honour of the 1st Glasgow, the first Boys' Brigade Company.

Jubilee Celebration at Wembley Stadium: This great event, despite the rain, is held in the presence of the Duke of Gloucester. The 3rd Enfield Company participated in the mass Bugle Band for the tattoo. The Company also took part in the Indian Clubs display.

A reunion of old boys of the 1st Glasgow takes place, fifty years after their formation.

8th-11th September
|
The Golden Jubilee celebrations take place in Glasgow.
The International BB camp takes place at Dechmont (8th to 11th September) for 200 senior Boys. A bronze casket is sealed at the camp (on the 8th September), which contains a secret message for the Boys of the Centenary session (1983). The picture below shows the six boys who were signatories of the message for the boys of 1983 from the boys of 1933. The boys represent the original BB Company (1st Glasgow), Scotland, England, Wales, Northern Ireland and overseas Companies. The photo shows (from left to right) C/Sgt L. J. The 1933 Dechmont Camp message from the Boys of 1933
The Jubilee Royal Review takes place on the 9th September at the Queen's Park Recreation Ground by HRH Prince George. 32500 are present on parade.

The Drumhead Service takes place on 10th September. Also, a convention is held at Hampden Park, Mount Florida.
A railway coupon to allow a Boy to travel to Glasgow for the Golden Jubilee celebrations, which is signed by the son of the founder of the Boys' Brigade.
