15th January A recruitment evening is held to encourage Boys in the area to join the 3rd Enfield; number of Boys turn up.
2nd April The 3rd Enfield wins the Battalion Band competition by 5 points. The Band was under the direction of Mr H J Dye.
15th April The Company wins the Battalion Gym Cup (Founder's Cup) at the Triangle Club; they add this to their victory in the PT Cup.
May The Company achieves the third largest sum collected for BB Week.
May Harold J Dye becomes Captain of the Company.
6th May The Royal Albert Hall Display

August The 2nd and 3rd Enfield Summer Camp is a combined camp at Whitecliffe Bay, Isle of Wight.
10th November Three NCOs formed a party of BB Boys who place crosses on the field of Remembrance at Westminster Abbey.
11th December Lt Col R V K Applin, Conservative MP for Enfield, speaks at the 3rd Enfield Bible Class.

1933 - The Golden Jubilee year of the Boys' Brigade

23rd April Over 600 Members of the Boys' Brigade attend the Enfield Battalion Jubilee Parade at Lincoln Road, Ponders End. The massed bands of the 1st and 3rd Enfield take part. Captain Barns of Birmingham addresses the Battalion.
2nd May A Golden Jubilee Dinner is held in London in honour of the 1st Glasgow, the first Boys' Brigade Company.

24th June Jubilee Celebration at Wembley Stadium: This great event, despite the rain, is held in the presence of the Duke of Gloucester. The 3rd Enfield Company participated in the mass Bugle Band for the tattoo. The Company also took part in the Indian Clubs display.

8th-11th September The Golden Jubilee celebrations take place in Glasgow.

The International BB camp takes place at Dechmont (8th to 11th September) for 200 senior Boys. A bronze casket is sealed at the camp (on the 8th September), which contains a secret message for the Boys of the Centenary session (1983).

The Jubilee Royal Review takes place on the 9th September at the Queen's Park Recreation Ground by HRH Prince George. 32500 are present on parade.

The Drumhead Service takes place on 10th September. Also, a convention is held at Hampden Park, Mount Florida.

1934

20th January The 3rd Enfield Boy Reserves visit the World Fair.
21st March The Enfield Battalion Platoon Drill competition takes place at the Drill Hut. The 3rd Enfield beat the 1st Enfield 97 1/2 points to 94 1/2 points, but do not receive the Battalion Colours due to the fact that they turned out only two sections instead of three.
11th April The Company wins the Battalion Bugle Band competition for the fourth year in a row.

June Mr Frank Head moves away from the area; he is presented with a silver cigarette box as a token of of his hard work for the company. He later joins the 11th West Kent Company in Orpington.
August The 2nd, 3rd and 10th Enfield Companies camp with the 1st Southgate at Bembridge.
10th December The Company wins the Battalion Squad Drill competition.

27th January The 3rd Enfield holds a social with plenty of food and games.
February The 3rd wins the Ambulance competition and the Gym competition.
19th March The 1st Enfield win the Plowman Colours by 20 points over the 3rd Enfield at the Drill hall.
14th April Mr Harry Luscombe Toms, Captain of the 1st Enfield from 1889 to 1909, passes away.

10th-17th August The 2nd, 3rd, 10th and 11th Enfield Companies camp with the 1st Southgate at Whitecliffe Bay.
Frank Head becomes Captain of the 3rd.
29th November Mr Norris Storer Toms, founder of the 3rd Enfield, makes a visit to the 3rd Enfield and recalls the early days of the Company.
3rd December A parents and friends social was held at the Lecture hall, Chase Side.

20th January King George V dies.
May Mr Charles Chopping, as Secretary of the YMCA encourages the Boys to join the YMCA club.

14th-28th August The 2nd, 3rd, 9th and 10th Enfield Companies camp at Whitecliffe Bay. They enjoy paddocks, cricket, boxing, football and rambles. 29 Boys and 3 Officers from the 3rd attend.
8th December The 3rd wins the Battalion Squad Drill competition.

1937

9th January The Company holds its 47th annual birthday party at the British Hall.
20th February The Old Boys take on the Company boys at billiards, ping pong, darts and tiddlywinks. The Company and Old Boys begin to make plans for accommodation for club rooms and similar classes. The hut - to be called the Plowman Hut - is to be erected at the rear of the British Hall in Chase Side. The Old Boys win the sporting challenge by seven events to five.
19th March The 3rd Enfield wins the Battalion Colours competition by one point.
April The 3rd Enfield comes third in the first round of the Daily Telegraph Shield competition at the Guildhall.
May The Company provides the escort to the King's Colour and the London Colour at the Royal Albert Hall Coronation Display.

12th May King George VI is Coronated.
3rd July The Festival of Youth takes place at the Empire Stadium, Wembley: In the presence of Their Royal Majesties the King and Queen, were representatives of over 40 youth organisations in the march past that followed the Boys' Brigade (1175 boys took part in the display).

August The 2nd, 3rd, 9th and 10th Enfield Companies hold the annual camp at Whitecliffe Bay.
September The 3rd Enfield wins the Swimming Shield at the Knight's Lane Baths, Edmonton.

June The BB Jubilee year Sports: The inspection was by Capt E G Hooper. There is an Old Boys march past.
9th December The Company wins the Squad Drill by 8 1/2 points.

The Company
3rd March A shield carved out of wood, with the crest of the Boys' Brigade and the motto "Sure and Steadfast" is presented to the Company by the widow of the late Mr Norris Toms. The shield was presented to the founder of the Company in 1896, by Sgt H Hyde.
March The Company wins the Battalion Gymnastics competition.
3rd May The 49th annual Display takes place at Chase Side School.

16th August-2nd September The Jubilee Camp takes place at Breen, Somerset, with 46 Boys, 8 Officers and 9 staff. The Camp was held early due to world events.

3rd September Great Britain enters into a World War.
September The Golden Jubilee session of the 3rd Enfield Company begins.
16th December At the new Christ Church hall, the 3rd Enfield holds a special Jubilee celebration. The hall was in a state of blackout due to wartime conditions. The Guest of Honour was Captain G Stanley Smith MC, and 160 people attend.
