An Enfield Battalion Millennium Camp takes place at Whitecliffe Bay on the Isle of Wight. A number of Boys and Officers from all Companies in the Battalion attend, including the 3rd Enfield (Andrew Mason, Captain of the 3rd Enfield, is the Camp's Commanding Officer).

| 4th September | With the start of the new session, the 3rd Enfield begins to bring in the new Boys' Brigade uniform, which was voted in at Brigade Council the previous year. The uniform had remained almost unchanged since the formation of the 3rd Enfield in 1890, and also means that after almost 100 years, the famous 3rd Enfield red ties fall into disuse. |

London Band competitions: For the second year running, the 3rd Enfield enters the Devonshire Cup in the combined Band with the 1st Enfield. The Band also enters the District Open Band competition and the Don West Trophy for Musical Accuracy, coming second in all competitions. The Devonshire Cup, Musical Accuracy and Company Band competitions are all won by the 1st Hillingdon.

The annual Display and Presentation Evening takes place in the Church Hall, featuring items from all three sections, while the "Magnificent Seven" of Rob Gardner, Tom Killey, Steven Peck, Michael Harnett, Tom Winfield, Richard Arrowsmith and Matt Hadden are officially discharged from the Company. Tom Boorman also becomes the 3rd Enfield's first Queen's Man in around 20 years by gaining the highest Award in the Brigade, the Queen's Badge.

| 17th June | The Battalion Athletics competition takes place at the Queen Elizabeth II Stadium, Enfield. The 3rd Enfield's sole representative, Richard Arrowsmith wins the 100m, 200m and javelin, and also comes second in the long jump in his age group. The overall winners are the 2nd Enfield. |

London District's annual Beating Retreat takes place at the Royal Chelsea Hospital. Members of the 3rd Enfield are involved in the London Massed Bugle Band and various fanfare teams, including a special fanfare with the 1st Enfield and 1st Cranham Companies for Richard Davies, the London Secretary who retires after 25 years. S/Sgt Tom Boorman also receives a special certificate from the District as one of the Queen's Men paraded during the evening. On the 100th anniversary of the Daily Telegraph Shield, of which the 3rd Enfield were the first winners in 1906, the 1st Enfield win the competition.

The London District Band competitions take place at the Kemnal Technology College in Sidcup, in which the combined Band of the 1st and 3rd Enfield comes second in both the Devonshire Cup and the Don West Trophy. Andrew Clarke comes fourth in the Solo Drummer competition. The majority of the competitions are won by the 1st Enfield Company, including all of the solo and team competitions except for the Drum Major competitions, and all band competitions except for the Don West Trophy (won by the 3rd Bromley), the Open Band (won by The Pacemakers) and the Zone Band (won by the East Zone), although the 1st did not enter the latter two.

There were items put on by all three sections, including games by the Anchor Boys, figure marching and gymnastics by the Junior Section, drill and a version of Blockbusters by the Company Section, as well as a performance by the band and the usual Company Awards.

On the Scout Centenary Day, a re-enactment of the famous Brownsea Island camp is held at the same place. The 1st Bournemouth and 1st Poole Companies were involved in the original camp in 1907, which led to Baden-Powell's "Scouting for Boys" book and the foundation of the Scouting movement.

| 4th-10th August | Tom Boorman becomes the first member of the 3rd Enfield for seven years to successfully complete the King George VI Officer Training Course, held at BB Headquarters at Felden Lodge. |
| 20th-21st October | The London Massed Bugle Band holds a weekend of celebrations to celebrate their 25th anniversary, after being formed in advance of the Boys' Brigade's centenary in 1983. Over the two days, a practice is held on the Saturday along with a film and a disco. On the Sunday, the band travels to St. Paul's Cathedral in London to parade through some of the streets in a procession including the London Stedfast Association Band. A service is held on the steps of the Cathedral to commemorate Founder's Day. After the service, a banquet is held at St. Brides. |
| 26th-28th October | The Boys' Brigade's England Region holds a weekend of activities at the Frontier Centre in Irthlingborough, Northamptonshire, which is attended by Tom Boorman from the 3rd. |
| 9th November | The team of Jamie Newport, Owen Newport, Lee Halls and Billy Bullock take part in the North London Zone Quiz competition and come 6th. The competition is won by the 1st Hoddesdon Company. |
| 11th November | The annual Remembrance Sunday parade is held, with Enfield Battalion taking part once again. For the first time in a number of years, the bugle team for Last Post and Reveille is provided by the Scouts instead of the Boys' Brigade, due to it being their Centenary Year. |
| 24th November | The Company takes part in the Battalion Open Bowling competition, held at Hollywood Bowl Finchley, and comes fourth with the team of Jamie Newport, Owen Newport and Billy Bullock. The 12th Enfield win the Open competition and the 1st Enfield win the Junior competition. |
| 10th December | The annual Company Christmas party takes places, with all sections holding their own activities including games and pizza. |

For the first time, the London Massed Bugle Band takes part in the annual New Year's Day Parade in London, with Tom Boorman representing the 3rd Enfield.

| 20th January | The Company Enrolment Service takes place. Badges are awarded to Boys in all sections, with members of the Company Section receiving badges from the recently introduced Discover Programme. Jamie Newport is also promoted to the rank of Corporal. As part of the new scheme he also gains the Discovery Badge, which is a new major award (the other two being the President's and Queen's Badges), thus making him the first 3rd Enfield member to do so. |
| 2nd February | The 3rd Enfield's Senior football team, who had joined with the 2nd Enfield for this season, finish 4th in the North London Senior football league. |
| 9th February | The 3rd Enfield/133rd London Company football team finish their season in fifth place in the North London Zone Company football league. |
| 20th March | The new 3rd Enfield Colour Party of Jamie Newport, Sam Rowsell and Andrew Clarke take part in the Enfield Battalion Colours competition for the first time and come second. Sam Rowsell and Billy Bullock also enter the Two Smart Recruits competition, coming second. The 1st Hoddesdon win the Colours and the 2nd Enfield win the Two Smart Recruits, with the 1st Enfield winning the Small Squad Drill on the same night. All three competitions were held at Lancaster Road URC, home of the 1st Enfield. |

Former 3rd Enfield member and Company historian Rob Wilson takes part in the London leg of the Olympic Torch Relay for the Beijing Games, as one of 80 torch bearers to carry the flame across the capital. Robert ran the torch relay on the last part of Aldwych, into the Strand, and the first part of Fleet Street. An article appears in the London Stedfast Association's Onlooker magazine about the event.

Several items are put on for parents and friends of the Company, including Bible stories, games, drill, figure marching and gymnastics. As well as the annual Company awards, members of the Anchor Boys and Junior Section are presented with the special 125th Anniversary Community badge in recognition of their work collecting money for the Royal National Lifeboat Institute. |
| 17th May | A joint team from the 3rd and 10th Enfield Companies enters the Veterans competition at the 2008 Waltham Walk, and come in second place overall. |
| 23rd-26th May | A group of five members from the 3rd Enfield attend the 2008 Firm Foundations festival at Felden Lodge and enjoy a weekend of Christian teaching, music and worship. |
| 31st May | The London Stedfast Association holds a 125th Anniversary celebration event at the Historic Dockyard in Chatham, Kent. The 3rd Enfield are represented in various ways, including performances by the London Massed Bugle Band, and a bugle performance with the Stedfast Association Brass Band in the finale of the event. |
| 14th June | 3rd Enfield member Tom Boorman is interviewed by the BBC's Clare Balding at the annual Trooping the Colour ceremony for The Queen's Official Birthday, after attending as part of the BB group. The interview is shown on BBC One in the morning as part of the channel's coverage, and replayed later on in the day on BBC Two. |
| 21st June | The Company takes part in the annual Enfield Battalion Athletics competition, with sole representative Harry Williams entering events in both the Junior and Company Section competitions. Overall, the 3rd Enfield comes fourth in the Junior Section competition, and seventh in the Company Section competition. Both are won by the 12th Enfield. |
| 5th July | London District's annual Beating Retreat ceremony takes place at the Royal Chelsea Hospital. In an enjoyable event, the 3rd Enfield participate in items such as the London Massed Bugle Band, as well as performing General Salute and the fanfare in the joint band with the 1st Enfield, and also joining with the 1st and the Stedfast Association Brass Band to perform Sunset Retreat. |

The Enfield Battalion hold a Life 2 the Max fun day to celebrate the 125th Anniversary of The Boys' Brigade. Members of the 3rd Enfield make up a group of around 140 people who attend the event at Felden Lodge.

| 26th July-2nd August |
Five members of the 3rd Enfield join with the 10th Enfield on the annual Summer Camp, which this year is held on the field of Swanage Middle School, in Swanage, Dorset. The camp, which coincides with the Swanage Carnival, also includes such activities as swimming, quad biking, mini golf, football, tennis, beach trips, a trip to Paulton's Theme Park and much more.

| 5th-7th September | Brigade Council motions to adopt a new Boys' Brigade Constitution and Regulations are accepted at the annual meeting at Tulliallan Castle, Fife. Among other things, the motions allow BB Companies to work with Girls through membership of Amicus and Girls' Association. |
| 16th September | Long-time 3rd Enfield member, supporter and current Company President Bill Hutchings passes away in Shrewsbury. Bill was in the Company for many years, having joined the Life Boys in the 1920s and progressing through the ranks, becoming Company President in 2005. |

The 3rd Enfield's annual Enrolment Service takes place at Christ Church URC, and is combined with Communion on the weekend of the 125th Anniversary of The Boys' Brigade.

The London Massed Bugle Band takes part once again in the annual Lord Mayor's Show, which also features a float put on by The Boys' Brigade nationally to celebrate the 125th Anniversary of the organisation.

| 9th November |
Members of the 3rd Enfield join with the rest of Enfield Battalion to take part in the annual Remembrance Day parade in Enfield Town, with the BB and GB contingent being led by the Battalion Band from Christ Church to the Cenotaph where a service is held, and then from there through the Town and back to Christ Church.

Andrew Clarke represents the 3rd Enfield in the London District Solo Drum competition and comes out victorious, becoming the first 3rd Enfield winner of the competition in 20 years. The Solo Bugle and Solo Bell Lyre competitions are won by the 1st Slough and 1st Barnet respectively.

| 14th March | London District's Band competitions take place at the headquarters of the 1st Enfield Company. The combined band of the 1st and 3rd Enfield wins the Don West Trophy for Musical Accuracy, and comes second to the 3rd Bromley in the Devonshire Cup. |
| 15th March | The annual Enfield Battalion Church Parade takes place at Hoddesdon Methodist Church, home of the 1st Hoddesdon Company. Members from the majority of Companies in the Battalion attend, including the 3rd Enfield. |
| 28th March | The 3rd Enfield re-enters the London District drill arena for the first time in several years, coming third in the Single Line drill competition and second in both the 3 and 5 Man Colours competitions. |
| 27th April | The annual Company Display and Presentation Evening takes place at the Church hall. A number of items are put on by all sections along with presentations of various awards. Jamie Newport becomes the first member of the 3rd Enfield to be awarded the President's Badge in nearly five years. |
| 22nd-25th May | Jamie Newport and Tom Boorman take part in the annual Firm Foundations festival at BB Headquarters at Felden Lodge. Over 900 people attend the weekend which features a number of worship bands, speakers and many other activities. |
| 6th June | The team of Jamie Newport and Owen Newport represent the 3rd Enfield and take part in the Enfield Battalion/North London Zone Athletics competition, coming 5th in the former's contest and 7th in the latter. They also win the Enfield Battalion Small Companies Athletics cup. |
| 12th-14th June | Members of the 3rd Enfield take part in the Enfield Battalion Junior Section Weekend Camp for the first time in a number of years. Around 35 Boys from most Companies in the Battalion take part in the event at Gilwell Park. |
| 14th June | The London Massed Bugle Band performs at the Volunteer Police Cadet Parade in London, featuring representation from the 3rd Enfield. The parade includes a march down The Mall and a number of static performances on Horse Guards Parade. |
| 27th June | London District's annual Beating Retreat ceremony takes place at the Royal Chelsea Hospital. The 3rd Enfield once again participate in items such as the London Massed Bugle Band, including the bugle team performing Sunset Retreat, as well as performing General Salute and a special fanfare in a joint routine with the 1st Enfield. |
| 25th July-1st August |
The Company enjoys its annual camp with our friends from the 10th Enfield BB and 1st Winchmore Hill GB at Beeston Regis, Norfolk. The group of 13 boys and 4 girls take part in a number of activities including go-karting, high ropes, water games, an assault course, beach trips and much more.

| 5th-6th September |
Enfield Battalion has a display stand at the annual Town Show. The weekend opens with a parade through the Town Centre, which features a performance by the Battalion Band, including the 3rd Enfield. At the Show itself, a display stand allows people to look at some of the activities provided by the Battalion, as well as encouraging potential new members to join their nearest Company.

The annual Enrolment Service takes place at Christ Church United Reformed Church. The service is led by the Minister and Company Chaplain, Rev David Atkinson. In addition to the Enrolment, the service also includes Holy Communion. During the service, Jamie Newport is presented with a Jack Petchey Award for Outstanding Achievement, and Sam Rowsell is presented with his President's Badge, the second highest Award in The Boys' Brigade.

| 8th November | Members of all Companies in Enfield Battalion join with other organisations for the Remembrance Sunday Parade. After meeting at Christ Church United Reformed Church, the contingent parades to the Royal British Legion to meet up with the other organisations, and from there to the War Memorial on Chase Side for the Remembrance Service. After that there is a parade through Enfield Town and back to Christ Church. 10 members of the 3rd Enfield take part, out of a total of 87 members of Enfield Battalion on parade. |
| 14th November | The London Massed Bugle Band takes part in the annual Lord Mayor's Show, representing YOU London. |
Summer camp 2010

From 24th to 31st July, members of the 3rd Enfield joined with the 10th Enfield Boys' Brigade and 1st Winchmore Hill Girls' Brigade for our summer camp, which was held in Beeston Regis, Norfolk.
