...to the website of the 3rd Enfield Boys' Brigade Company. The Company was founded in 1890 by Mr Norris Storer Toms, and the Boys' Brigade as a whole was founded in 1883 by Sir William Alexander Smith. If you would like to find out more information about the BB as a whole, please visit the national website.

Who are the 3rd Enfield?
The 3rd Enfield is based at Christ Church United Reformed Church, which is on Chase Side in the town of Enfield, north London. If you would like to see a map showing our location, please click here. The Officer in Charge of the Company is Lt Adrian Bullock.

The 3rd Enfield is a part of the Enfield Battalion, which contains a total of nine Companies. The Battalion is also a part of the London District, which has over 100 Companies within the area it operates in. The Company takes part in many competitions at Battalion and District level, and a comprehensive history of the Company can be found in the history section.

When does the Company meet?
All sections of the Company meet on a Monday night in the Church hall, and the meeting times are as follows:
Anchor Boys (5 to 8 years old - school years 1 to 3): 6:30pm to 8:00pm
Junior Section (8 to 11 years old - school years 4 to 6): 6:30pm to 8:00pm
Company/Senior Sections (11 to 18 years old - school years 7 to 13): 7:30pm to 9:30pm

5/10/08 - The 3rd Enfield's annual Enrolment Service takes place at Christ Church URC, and is combined with Communion on the weekend of the 125th Anniversary of The Boys' Brigade.

26/7-2/8/08 - Five members of the 3rd Enfield join with the 10th Enfield on the annual Summer Camp, which this year is held on the field of Swanage Middle School, in Swanage, Dorset. The camp, which coincides with the Swanage Carnival, also includes such activities as swimming, quad biking, mini golf, football, tennis, beach trips, a trip to Paulton's Theme Park and much more.

12/7/08 - The Enfield Battalion hold a Life 2 the Max fun day to celebrate the 125th Anniversary of The Boys' Brigade. Members of the 3rd Enfield make up a group of around 140 people who attend the event at Felden Lodge.

5/7/08 - London District's annual Beating Retreat ceremony takes place at the Royal Chelsea Hospital. In an enjoyable event, the 3rd Enfield participate in items such as the London Massed Bugle Band, as well as performing General Salute and the fanfare in the joint band with the 1st Enfield, and also joining with the 1st and the Stedfast Association Brass Band to perform Sunset Retreat.
